Mankatha Re-Release Box Office Collection Day 10: Ajith Kumar’s Classic Crosses ₹14.90 Crore

The re-release of Mankatha is still making noise at the box office! The 2011 blockbuster hit theatres again on January 23, 2026, and as of Day 10 (February 1, 2026), it has collected around ₹14.90 crore gross in India. The film kicked off with huge excitement, but like many re-releases, it saw a clear drop once the initial buzz settled in the second weekend.

Thala’s stylish negative-shaded cop-thriller drew massive crowds in Tamil Nadu during the opening week, especially around Republic Day. But from Day 8 onwards, numbers dipped sharply as newer films and regular weekdays took over screens.

Right now, it sits as the third-highest-grossing Tamil re-release ever, behind Vijay’s Ghilli (₹30+ crore) and Rajinikanth’s Padayappa (₹19 crore). Not bad for a 15-year-old film!
