2026 Gixxer 250: Suzuki Motorcycle India has rolled out the 2026 updates for its popular quarter-litre motorcycles, the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250. The latest update brings fresh colour schemes and revised graphics, helping the bikes stay visually relevant in a competitive segment, while the mechanical package remains unchanged.
For the new model year, the fully-faired Gixxer SF 250 receives two new colour treatments — Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Glacier White paired with Metallic Mat Platinum Silver No.2. These additions complement the existing Metallic Triton Blue with Pearl Glacier White option, giving sportbike buyers more styling choices without altering the bike’s familiar design.
The naked Gixxer 250 has also been given a broader visual refresh. Suzuki now offers it in Pearl Glacier White with Metallic Mat Platinum Silver No.2, Metallic Triton Blue combined with Glass Sparkle Black, and a clean Glass Sparkle Black finish. These updates are aimed at riders who prefer a bold streetfighter look with modern aesthetics.
Interestingly, Suzuki has kept pricing unchanged despite the cosmetic upgrades. The Gixxer SF 250 continues to retail at ₹1.89 lakh, while the Gixxer 250 is priced at ₹1.81 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Alongside the launch, the company is offering added benefits such as insurance discounts, extended warranty options, and flexible finance plans, including no-down-payment schemes.
Both motorcycles continue to be powered by a 249cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 26.5PS of power and 22.2Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The setup is known for its smooth power delivery, making it suitable for both city commuting and highway riding.
Feature highlights remain consistent, with LED lighting, a fully digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and disc brakes at both ends. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock, while alloy wheels come as standard.
With these subtle yet effective updates, Suzuki aims to keep the Gixxer 250 range competitive against rivals like the Yamaha R15 V4 and KTM RC 200, appealing to riders who value reliability, performance, and refreshed styling.
