Strong Box Office Performance

After collecting $1.1 million during the February 13-15 weekend in North America, The Housemaid added another $0.2 million on Monday, pushing its domestic total to $125.6 million. Globally, the film has amassed an impressive $359.3 million, securing a spot among 2025’s top 20 highest-grossing releases.

With a reported production budget of just $35 million, the thriller has comfortably surpassed its estimated $87.5 million break-even point by approximately $271.8 million, making it a certified commercial success.

Chasing Minority Report

The Housemaid has already overtaken Steven Spielberg’s 2002 sci-fi classic Minority Report globally, which earned $358.4 million during its run. However, domestically, Feig’s thriller still trails Tom Cruise’s iconic film by $6.5 million. Minority Report collected $132.1 million in North America compared to The Housemaid’s current $125.6 million.

Internationally, The Housemaid leads with $233.7 million against Minority Report’s $226.3 million. The final verdict will depend on the film’s theatrical legs in the coming weeks as it continues its impressive run.
