Although Day 8 collections saw a marginal drop from Friday’s ₹5 crore, the film maintained a stable weekend hold. Despite mixed reactions on social media platforms, Parasakthi continues to attract audiences due to its emotionally charged narrative, strong performances, and historical backdrop centered on the 1965 Anti-Hindi agitations.

Occupancy Details

On Day 8, Tamil Nadu occupancy averaged an impressive 46.40%, indicating strong weekend footfall. Afternoon shows peaked at 55.33%, while evening shows followed closely at 53.57%. Morning shows remained comparatively lower at 28.47%, but night shows performed well at 48.22%, highlighting sustained audience interest through the day.

After a massive opening weekend, the film experienced the expected weekday slowdown before receiving a significant boost during the Pongal holiday period. The presence of a strong supporting cast including Sreeleela, Atharvaa, and Rana Daggubati has further enhanced its appeal. Produced by Dawn Pictures, Parasakthi continues to dominate the festive box office despite competition from newer releases such as Vaa Vaathiyaar.

If the film maintains similar occupancy levels through the coming week, it is well-positioned to emerge as one of the biggest Tamil hits of the Pongal 2026 season.
