Bajaj Auto just confirmed they’ll launch or update eight new motorcycles by mid-2026. The main goal? Grab back strong market share in the 125cc and above segments where competition is super tough right now.
If you’re a Pulsar fan or just love two-wheelers, this year is going to be exciting. Here’s the simple breakdown of what’s coming from Bajaj.
Pulsar Family Gets Bigger and Better
The Pulsar still brings in nearly two-thirds of Bajaj’s bike sales – it’s their heart and soul.
- The Pulsar 125 and 150 already got 2026 updates with cool LED lights and digital displays.
- More versions could drop between March and May – maybe adventure-style or off-road looks.
- Big news: A completely new platform for the classic Pulsar 125, 150, and 220F. Expect fresh chassis, smoother engines, but that same tough Pulsar style we love.
- They’re also pushing the NS and N series hard. Rumors say the NS400Z might get a 350cc version to avoid higher taxes under new GST rules (bikes over 350cc face 40% tax now).
Brand New 125cc Lineup – Not Called Pulsar
Bajaj is launching a whole new brand just for 125cc commuters. It will sit below the Pulsar to give sharper pricing and fight head-on with Honda Shine and Hero Glamour. Launch expected around mid-2026 (early FY 2026-27). There’s talk they might bring back old names like Trekker or Marathon for dual-sport or off-road bikes.
Premium & Electric Moves
- Next-gen Dominar 400 could use the updated 399cc engine from KTM 390 Duke (around 46 PS).
- A new 400cc cruiser under Avenger name is also in the works.
- On the EV side, after the cheap Chetak C25 launch in January (around ₹91,399), Bajaj is building a modular electric motorcycle platform for more EV bikes by late 2026.
