Bajaj Auto Sales January 2026: 25% Jump to 4.77 Lakh Units with Strong Exports

Bajaj Auto sales January 2026 delivered a solid start to the year. Total sales hit 4,77,422 units, up 25% from 3,81,040 units in January 2025. Growth came evenly from two-wheelers and commercial vehicles, with exports shining bright.

Two-wheelers stayed the main driver. Sales rose 24% to 4,06,295 units. Domestic 2W jumped 25% to 2,14,727 units. Exports grew 22% to 1,91,568 units.

Commercial vehicles showed even stronger gains. Total CV sales climbed 35% to 71,127 units. Domestic CVs rose 27% to 47,248 units, while exports surged 53% to 23,879 units. This big leap in CV exports highlights Bajaj’s push in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

Overall exports reached 2,15,447 units, up 25%. Domestic sales totaled 2,61,975 units, higher by 26%.

The Chetak electric scooter kept gaining ground with 25,511 units sold in January. The new affordable Chetak C25 model should help grab more share in the EV space.

For the fiscal year so far (April 2025–January 2026), Bajaj Auto has sold 42,24,031 units, up 8% from last year.
