Gold Rate Today 8 February 2026 remains unchanged as markets are closed for the weekend. Spot prices are holding at elevated levels following yesterday’s significant surge of ₹2,890 per 10 grams.
In Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, 24K gold (99.9% pure) is priced at ₹1,56,600 per 10 grams, while 22K gold stands at ₹1,43,550. Delhi shows slightly higher rates at ₹1,56,750 for 24K gold. Chennai continues to command premium pricing at ₹1,57,310 per 10 grams for pure gold.
MCX gold futures for April 2026 last traded around ₹1,55,505 per 10 grams before markets closed. The recent rally follows a 12% correction from January’s peak of ₹1.79 lakh, triggered by Budget 2026 announcements.
Market analysts attribute the current rebound to a weakening US Dollar and profit-booking activity. Investors are closely monitoring these levels as potential entry points after the sharp correction.
