Happy Patel vs Rahu Ketu Box Office Day 2: The Hindi box office saw a crowded release window this Friday with three comedy films hitting cinemas simultaneously. Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, Rahu Ketu, and One Two Cha Cha Cha all opened to weak numbers on Day 1. However, Saturday brought some relief for the makers as collections showed growth across the board. Even so, the battle for Day 2 clearly had one film edging ahead.
Among the three releases, Rahu Ketu, starring Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, delivered the strongest growth on its second day. After collecting just ₹1 crore on Friday, the film witnessed a sharp jump on Saturday, earning around ₹1.60 crore. This translates to an impressive 60% growth, allowing it to outperform its rivals in terms of Day 2 box office collection.
In comparison, Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, the spy action-comedy headlined by Vir Das, showed moderate improvement. The film earned approximately ₹1.50 crore on Saturday, up from ₹1.25 crore on its opening day. While the growth of nearly 20% is positive, it was not enough to beat Rahu Ketu’s Saturday figures.

The third release, One Two Cha Cha Cha, remained far behind despite showing similar percentage growth. The film improved from ₹10 lakh on Day 1 to ₹16 lakh on Day 2, but its overall numbers remain negligible when compared to the other two releases.
Happy Patel vs Rahu Ketu Box Office Day 2
| Film | Day 1 Collection | Day 2 Collection | Total (2 Days) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos | ₹1.25 crore | ₹1.50 crore | ₹2.75 crore |
| Rahu Ketu | ₹1.00 crore | ₹1.60 crore | ₹2.60 crore |
| One Two Cha Cha Cha | ₹0.10 crore | ₹0.16 crore | ₹0.26 crore |
Despite decent Saturday growth, trade expectations remain low. All three films carry budgets far higher than their current earnings. Happy Patel reportedly costs between ₹25–40 crore, Rahu Ketu around ₹20–25 crore, while One Two Cha Cha Cha was made on a budget of ₹7–8 crore. With such weak openings, recovering even half of the investment appears difficult.
