Jawa 730 Twin Unveiled: A Fresh High-Performance Café Racer from the Original Czech Brand

Big news for bike lovers! On February 5, 2026, the legendary Jawa brand from the Czech Republic dropped a bombshell – the Jawa 730 Twin. This isn’t the Jawa you see on Indian roads from the Mahindra-owned Classic Legends.

It’s a completely separate project by the original Jawa Moto team, built with help from Swiss Moto2 experts at Suter. And wow, it steps straight into the exciting middleweight performance class with a cool neo-retro café racer look.

This Jawa 730 Twin feels like a perfect mix of old-school style and modern punch. It’s designed to take on bikes like the Suzuki GSX-8S and Yamaha XSR700.

Engine & Power That Thrills

At its core is a brand-new 730cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine made for strong performance and Euro 5+ rules.

  • Power: 74–75 bhp at 8,200 rpm
  • Torque: 68 Nm at 7,100 rpm
  • Gearbox: 6-speed
  • Top speed: Around 205 km/h (claimed)

There’s also an A2-friendly version with power limited to 47 bhp for European riders with smaller licenses. Smooth power delivery with that classic twin-cylinder feel – riders are going to love it.

Premium Hardware Meets Classic Looks

The Jawa 730 Twin keeps the vintage café racer shape but packs high-end bits:

  • Tubular steel trellis frame (engine acts as stressed member)
  • Fully adjustable KYB upside-down front forks + rear monoshock
  • Twin front discs with Brembo calipers + Bosch dual-channel ABS
  • Full-colour TFT display with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts
  • All-LED lights, keyless ignition
  • 17-inch alloy wheels front and rear
  • Dry weight: ~213 kg
  • Fuel tank: 16 litres

It looks timeless but rides like a modern machine.

Launch & India Plans

The full production version of the Jawa 730 Twin is set to shine at the Motosalon show in Brno, Czech Republic, in March 2026. Pricing isn’t final yet, but expect it to sit in the premium middleweight zone – not cheap, but worth it for the quality.

For now, no word on India launch. Since it’s a pure Czech project, it’s not tied to the Indian Jawa lineup under Classic Legends. So Indian fans might have to wait or import one later.
