Worldwide Collections and Budget

With a reported production budget between ₹150-200 crore, Parasakthi has collected approximately ₹82.50 crore worldwide, including ₹22.60 crore from overseas markets. This means the film has recovered only 25-33% of its investment through theatrical revenue, heading towards a “Flop” verdict.

Silver Lining: Digital and Satellite Deals

The makers have cushioned their losses through lucrative pre-release agreements:

  • OTT Rights: ZEE5 acquired digital streaming rights for ₹52 crore
  • Satellite Rights: Kalaignar TV purchased television rights for ₹30 crore

These deals have brought significant non-theatrical revenue, providing relief to producers despite poor box office performance.

Theater Occupancy Report

On Day 14, Parasakthi recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 14.40%. Night shows performed relatively better at 18.53%, while morning and afternoon screenings remained between 11-14%.

With diminishing footfalls and minimal buzz, Parasakthi appears set to conclude its theatrical journey as one of 2026’s commercial disappointments despite its star cast.
