From a technical standpoint, the production design team deserves applause for meticulously recreating 1960s Tamil Nadu. The authentic period setting immerses viewers in a bygone era, with careful attention paid to costumes, locations, and cultural details that transport audiences back in time.

Perhaps most disappointingly for a Tamil film, the music fails to leave an impression. In an industry where powerful songs can elevate entire sequences and become cultural touchstones, Parasakthi’s soundtrack feels forgettable and disconnected from the story’s emotional beats.

The overall narration has been described as “boring” and “disastrous” by frustrated viewers who came expecting Sudha Kongara’s trademark sharp storytelling. The predictability of the plot combined with its excessive runtime creates a viewing experience that many have struggled to recommend, even with caveats about its redeeming qualities.
