Razzie Awards 2026 Nominations: As Hollywood prepares to celebrate cinematic excellence at the Oscars, the industry’s most infamous awards have taken a sharp left turn. The Golden Raspberry Awards, widely known as the Razzies, have officially announced their 2026 nominations — highlighting films and performances that left audiences underwhelmed in 2025.
Leading the nominations race are Disney’s live-action Snow White and the sci-fi remake War of the Worlds, with both titles earning six nominations each.
Disney’s Snow White Under Heavy Fire
Disney’s ambitious reimagining of its 1937 animated classic struggled to win critical approval. The film landed nominations for Worst Picture, Worst Remake, Worst Director, and Worst Screenplay. Performances also came under scrutiny, with Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot both named in acting categories. Even the CGI dwarf characters were criticised, earning nominations in supporting and screen-combo categories.
War of the Worlds Fails to Impress
Inspired by H.G. Wells’ classic novel, War of the Worlds matched Snow White with six Razzie nods, including Worst Picture, Worst Actor, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Remake — signalling widespread disappointment with the reboot.
