The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G series officially went on sale in India today, February 4, 2026. With this launch, Redmi is clearly changing its strategy. The popular Note series is no longer just about value pricing.
This time, the focus is on premium build quality, extreme durability and advanced camera technology, placing the phones firmly in the upper mid-range segment.
Price and Availability in India
Both the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G are available through Mi.com, Amazon India and offline retail stores. As part of launch offers, buyers can get an instant ₹3,000 discount using HDFC, SBI or ICICI bank cards.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G starts at ₹29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the higher 256GB model is priced at ₹31,999. With bank offers, effective prices drop to ₹26,999 and ₹28,999 respectively.
The more powerful Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G starts at ₹37,999 and goes up to ₹43,999 for the top 12GB + 512GB version.
What’s New Compared to Note 14 Pro
The biggest highlight of the Note 15 Pro series is durability. Both models come with IP66, IP68, IP69 and even IP69K ratings, meaning they can survive dust, water, high-pressure jets and extreme conditions. Redmi claims the phones can handle drops from up to 2.5 metres.
Battery life is another major upgrade. The phones pack large 6,500mAh+ silicon-carbon batteries. The Pro+ supports blazing-fast 100W charging, while the standard Pro offers 45W fast charging.
On the camera side, both phones feature a 200MP Samsung HPE sensor with OIS, promising better low-light photos and lossless 4x zoom. They also run Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, with AI tools like Circle to Search, AI Interpreter and AI Writing.
Who Is It For – and Who Should Skip
The Redmi Note 15 Pro series is ideal for users who want a tough, reliable phone with a bright AMOLED display and long battery life. However, hardcore gamers may find better performance-focused options in rival Poco or Realme GT devices.
